I hope I didn't make it sound intimidating, it's actually really easy!
Step 1: I use Garnier Fructis sleek & shine to really help bring a softness to my hair, it almost works as a detangler too
Step 2: Put a quarter size amount of the product in your hand and then apply to your hair.
Step 3: Now Blow dry!
Step 4: Nice and smooth and ready to curl.
Step 5 & 6: Take the curling iron and clamp it to a section of your hair, slide it down all the way to the ends of your hair then roll it up to the roots.
Step 7: Release the clamp and let it fall. One curl down, too many to count more
Step 8: Repeat steps 5 6 & 7
Step 9: As of right now they're looking really curly from the barrel curler.
Step 10: Left side done, Right to go!
Step 11: Keep sectioning your hair and curling.
Step 12: Full head done
Step 13: Since my hair is so thick and it can be a problem making my hair too heavy to really hold a good curl; I just go around my head curling parts and making sure sections of my hair are still wavy.
Step 14: All set and ready for the next step!
Step 15: Take your brush and brush out the curls to soften them, giving them a wavy appearance.
Step 16: *Example as shown*
Step 17: Get Big Sexy Hair's Powder Play. This product is absolutely amazing! Who knew that this little bottle could really make your hair rise and give you volume. Magic in a bottle!
Step 18: Just sprinkle a little onto your roots
Step 19: Just massage the powder into your roots and shake your hair a little. Play with it ;)
Step 20: You can even sprinkle it all over to give extra volume. I like to flip my hair over and then sprinkle a little all over. *Don't sprinkle too much*
Step 21: The powder did raise my roots a little bit :) Just right!
Step 22: Now SPRAY! Use your favorite hairspray. I personally like Treseme brand and even like the kind of hairspray that doesn't plaster my hair together lol
Step 23: Viola! It's finished!
Again, I'm really sorry for all the steps, a lot of them are just shown as examples, but I think it's a good thing to be pretty detailed :D
Hope this helps :)
Let me know what you think too! I'd love to hear from you.
Love, Courteink
