I can't help but be excited to wear more darker tones. I've never been the one to try it before, only because of the fear that it would wash me out, but after experimenting with warm-darker colors I have grown to love it. My favorite color for Fall is a deep burgundy and I just absolutely love how I was able to splash in some of the color to my outfit and really make it pop against more of the neutral tones. I had even gone the extra mile and found it in a lipstick; talk about exploring new things. The only lip wear I have been accustomed to is in light pinks, so if trying a new lip color is my way of taking a risk then it's safe to say that I took a bold move. Even my KJP wrap bracelet from Skye on the Town is color coordinated with fall.
After today's outfit of choice I think I'd have to say that my new all time favorite color combo is pairing that deep burgundy with darker olive green. It's so appropriate for this festive season and I figured that this dress would do the trick! Thank goodness it's still warm enough to wear a dress, but even much more appreciative that I can wear a cute denim jacket with a pumpkin spice latte in hand and still be comfortable.
This is why I love Fall!
