Pom Pom Hat DIY

-----------------
Hey loves! Today I'm sharing my first D.I.Y. and if you have seen the popular pom-pom Anthropologie hat and have been dying to own it but aren't willing to pay the price for it, then this simple and easy craft is for you.
I've always wanted to work on a D.I.Y. project, but unfortunately I never have the time to work on one. Though today, I was able to find some (time that is lol) and it literally took 10 minutes!

I was able to find a similar hat at Old Navy which you can find here.
-----------------

------------------
Grab a tube of fabric fuse glue, which you can easily find at any craft store.
------------------
---------------
Honestly, this was the hardest step in the project process---finding the pom-pom trim. I tried looking at 3 different craft stores to find the correct size material and thankfully Hancock Fabrics carried just what I was looking for. I was unable to find the neon pink pom-poms in stores, so I kept it neutral with white. If you want more color options, try searching on Etsy.com. I saw it in tons of other fun colors and will probably buy a couple more for another project ;)
---------------
---------------
Now the fun begins!
---------------
---------------
Start applying the fuse glue to the crease of the rim...
---------------
---------------
.....then apply the pom-pom trim on to the strip of glue. Press firmly and hold for a little bit just for the fabric to attach to the hat
---------------
---------------
Keep repeating the process till the ends of the trim meet.
---------------
---------------
Next, snip the end, glue, and connect.
---------------
---------------
The 10 minutes are up, and now all you have to do is set it out to dry {check the back of the glue to see how long it will take}.
---------------
----------------
Viola! You're name brand hat for less than $20!
