Summer time is all about the heat, so I'm thinking dresses will be my lifesaver this season, haha! I wore this dress for our cocktail-greeting party the first night of SBSCon. It was a good thing I went with this dress too because the Charleston humidity was killer! I really think that was the most I have ever sweat for being outside for just shy of a couple hours. To be honest, I think we were all literally a hot mess by the end of the party, lol.
Anyways, the outfit: Let's simply put it that this is one of the most comfortable dresses ever! If I was able to make it outside in 90+ degree weather with super humidity, then believe me when I say that it is. What made it even better was the delicate floral overlay. I don't know what it is about cropped overlays, but I'm seriously digging it! I even paired it with these cut-out wedges by Jeffrey Campbell. I died with joy when I put them on my feet and loved the fact that they can adjust to your feet for comfort.
{Funny fact: I busted my butt walking on these cobblestone paths in my high-wedges....Oh the things we do, just for a good picture, haha!}
