I'm totally counting down the days for Thanksgiving! I mean, all you can eat turkey, dressing, and pumpkin pie (or pecan pie if your in my family, haha!). I'm also just sitting here counting those days till the four day weekend! This will be the first holiday weekend that Justin and I will get to spend together, meaning that we will be spending every last minute of those four with each other. It's definitely different than what we have been used to for the past 3 years when he was working about 6-7 days a week, but now he's in a good place with his new job.
So what will we be doing now that we have all this extra time together? A whole lot of Christmas prepping that's for sure! I grew up with the tradition of heading up to Boone the day after Thanksgiving to pick out a Christmas tree. We'd spend the entire day up there and check in to the local eatery Daniel Boone's Inn for a family style lunch....soooo yummy! I'm also hoping to get some Christmas shopping done in the meantime as well.
Which brings me to my outfit: It's the perfect combination of being both casual plus a little festive for all those holiday run-arounds. This tie-front cardigan adds just a bit of merriness to my outfit...and we can't forget about those flare jeans! Guys, I haven't worn flare (or boot-cut) jeans since freshman year....of highschool, so it's definitely a nostalgic feeling bringing these babies back! Best part, they're currently 30% off!
