Every year we've been asked, "What's your New Year's resolution?" For some that's a pretty easy question, but for others, it might be a bit more difficult. Is it to find a different job? Get in better shape? Set better goals for the year? Those are resolutions we've picked at least once in the many years of our lives. This year I've chosen a resolution that I feel will help shape me to becoming a better person and restore my faith --- to continue a stronger relationship with Christ. You may be thinking, "What does this have to do with your fashion blog?" Well, everything! I owe my whole blogging journey to Him. Every opportunity or event I was given (whether it was blog related or not), it was all because of Him, and sometimes, I had lost sight of that. Now, I'm not one to get on a personal note on The Dainty Darling, but this time, I had a tug at my heart to write this.
Towards the end of the year Justin. Ryleigh, and I have been going to Church a lot more, and it has opened my eyes to the things that I need to change. Parts of my blogging journey has exposed characteristics in myself that I'm not very proud of. I had become more focused on myself, and had at times forgotten as to why I started my blog in the first place. Sometimes it had even brought a lot of unwanted frustration and pressure within me. Now don't get me wrong, I love blogging! I've met so many wonderful people and businesses and have been blessed to see them grow and work their magic in the ol' Blogging-Sphere! But from time-to-time it's best to take a few steps back, reflect, and humble ourselves. To try and remember what gave us this passion in the first place.
Overall, I hope to continue this blog (2016 and beyond) and carry it down the right path, but most importantly, to always keep Him in mind!
I'd also like to thank everyone for their love and support! Whether you're new to The Dainty Darling or an avid reader, ya'll also play a huge role in what I do! Thank you again! XOXO
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to him and he will make your paths straight."
-Proverbs 3:5-6
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
-Ephesians 4:2

This girl, Grace from Gracefullee Made is seriously awesome! We clicked right away!
A little girls night out mixing colors at Kendra Scott's Color Bar.
But how about that time we met Kendra Scott in person! OMG!
The best part of Summer was mingling with these three at SBS Con: Laura, Me, Corbin, and Emily
Or in the Fall when I had to hide my fan-girl and say hi to Rachel from Pink Peonies!
Latte's and getting lost in my hometown, haha!
NYFW will be a weekend I'll never forget!
One of the coolest photographers I met this year, Amanda!
Cooking up some fun with my local blogger babes.
