Good morning and happy Monday! Maybe not to some (especially if you were cheering on for the Panthers, like me), but today I'm excited to share my first "branching out there" post for The Dainty Darling and I hope that maybe this can add a little more excitement to your Monday. If you read my previous post, I mentioned that I was wanting to start a new segment for the blog on Mondays which will be on a more personal note on blogging and/or to touch on topics related to blogging, fashion, or anything!
First I think it would only be appropriate to introduce why I started my blog in the first place. I think I might have lightly touched the subject right in the beginning, but now that my audience has grown I'd like to give a formal introduction and to just say 'Welcome to my blog!' and share why I'm here.
How did you start your blog?: At the beginning I was working for a boutique and I just loved the idea picking out cute clothes to wear to work and giving pointers to customers that came in. My interest in fashion only grew from there. I knew I always had a love for the fashion industry and had even at one point thought about applying to The Art Institute for fashion merchandising. Anyway, I was on Facebook and saw a Youtube video of vlogger and thought, "hmmm, she looks like she is having so much fun sharing her hauls and tips to her viewers!" Now I'm not the one who likes to put myself out there through Youtube, and I can only shutter at the thought of hearing my voice being recorded, so again I'm thinking, "Why not just post my daily #OOTD on Instagram?!" Lo and behold, that's where it all began and it only grew from there! I loved sharing my outfits to my audience and still do to this day!
I know my first post is pretty short and sweet, but I do hope you enjoyed today's new segment! If you have any questions you'd like me to answer or any topics you'd like to discuss, let me know!
