Last night we had gone a little out of our way to a restaurant that's right on the lake in Lake Norman. It was such a pretty day yesterday that we didn't want to waste anymore time indoors! Thankfully they have a comfortable seating area out by the docks for you to sit back, relax, and have some wine. So anyway, like I've mentioned before, I'm always on board for dressing up; and that's exactly what I did. I had received this dress (c/o) in the mail the other day, and was pretty stoked that I was able to wear it---and soon! My favorite details about the dress are the pinstripes and, of course, that adorable bow-tie! I went on to pair it with my new favorite blue suede shoes (which was a step out the comfort zone) and sunglasses for an evening out by the lake.
I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday! I spent mine by going to Church with family, going out to eat, and then going out to eat again---boy, was I stuffed, but everything tasted sooo good, haha!
