Happy Friday!
You've probably noticed that I've had a couple great opportunities to travel to different places, some outside the state lines (like Williamsburg, VA) and some inside (like my most recent trip to the OBX). And I am nothing but grateful for being able to try different things and to experience the travel and share it with you, my readers! I've always felt that my blog is more than just about fashion (though it is still very much the primary), but I know that there's got to be a way to incorporate both loves: fashion and travel. I mean think about it, style is always portrayed differently anywhere you go! So why can't I take my love for fashion and bring it with me!? Of course I have to plan ahead and coordinate outfits based on what I'll be doing while I'm traveling. For example: I went hang gliding on the sand dunes---definitely not the time or place to break out my favorite OTK boots. Instead I found a cute sweatshirt (here), my new kicks, and leggings. P.S. I'll be working hard this weekend to give you my OBX recap. This lingering sickness has been kicking my butt this week!
Overall, I really would like to venture out and explore new destinations and to try local eats and venus! There's so much out there in the world to see, so why not look cute doing it!?
On another note, this was the outfit I wore on our last night out in the OBX. I wanted to keep it pretty casual since we were just grabbing some good eats and watching the sunset down by the dock! It was absolutely gorgeous!
