similar military jacket || grey twisted skirt {$29} || similar t-shirt || booties || necklace (c/o) || earrings
Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing the most adorable little skirt--with a twist! And it comes at a great price too ($29)! It's the perfect transitional skirt for fall, and I've already worn it quite a few times (and a few different ways!). The way I have it styled today has to be my favorite! I originally wore this look last week with a jean jacket, but I'm still crushing on utility jackets, so I swapped out the denim for this one! It's an old jacket from a couple years back, but I think this similar one will be a good next pick. Overall, this jersey knit skirt is super comfortable and flattering and will look great paired with white sneakers, a ball cap, and fitted sweatshirt!

OK, and now to the real stuff...
I know I've been off my blogging game recently, and haven't been keeping up with the consistency of posting, but it has become quite challenging with life pretty much being at non-stop. But not only that, the whole blogging game is changing; so it's hard to stay positive and motivated when you start feeling discouraged and/or uninspired (which is how I've been feeling lately). I've been blogging since the beginning of 2014 and have been blessed with opportunities and meeting new people, but it has also had its moments that weren't always Instagram worthy or picture perfect. The blogging journey has made me realize things about myself and that I've lost the passion that I once had at the start of it all. And after admitting that, I realize that I don't need to worry so much about the "likes" or the "follows", but that I need to take a few steps back (back to the beginning) and ask myself why I started blogging in the first place. I can't let the IG 'stats' determine my value or to even let it validate me as a blogger. I started it as a creative outlet for my outfit inspirations, and also as a place where you can find affordable outfit pieces. To this day I always try my best to stick with things under $50, because I also want my blog to be a relatable place for those who can't always splurge every week for the top looks. I'm sure I still have a lot of reflecting and figuring things out when it comes to my blog, so till then, I'm blogging for fun and at my own pace!
