We all know that being sick is no bueno, and I'm definitely the kind of person that's a little whimpy when it comes to it too. Well, if you most know, I'm currently sick right now, and it has been kicking me in the butt for the past 4 days (I honestly think this has been the worst one yet too). Anyways, while being confined in my house, I wasn't able to get any outfit shoots in, but began to think about some of my favorite things to do that make my sick days just a little bit better and bearable! And, VOILA, with today's post I'll be sharing with you just that!

DRESS AS COMFY AS YOU CAN:
I'm easily cold, so of course a cozy cardi is just what the doctor ordered! You also can't forget a comfy and trusty pair of leggings and/or sweatpants. You'll also need a warm pair of slippers or socks, but if you have to (and I mean have to) run to your local pharmacy, slipping on a pair of fuzzy lined boots will definitely keep you in that comfortable zone!
OPEN THE BLINDS:
Sometimes I can get stuck in a rut while being sick and wallow in the misery of it, but a simple gesture of getting out of bed and opening the blinds helps bring a little positive energy back into my mindset!
MAKE YOUR FAVORITE HOT TEA:
Hot tea warms the soul! I love teas with mint and lemon, and then I'll add a little bit of pure honey for a soothing finish (especially if I have a sore throat).
SET A DIFFUSER:
I've learned a little about essential oils, and I've been setting our diffuser off through out the day and before I go to bed. I honestly like it because what I diffuse smells so so good and it's kind of relaxing. Almost spa like, haha!
MAKE YOUR FAVORITE SOUP:
Ok, this is one of my favorites! I LOVE tomato bisque soup, and I usually eat it only when I'm sick. It's like a special treat for myself and something to look forward to! I even get a little creative and add a couple of extras to top it off, like: basil &, of course, gold fish! I'm such a kid at heart!
DRAW A BUBBLE BATH:
If I feel like I'm at my worst, a bubble bath will usually help. I go for the soft scents like lavender or eucalyptus. Sometimes I'll even sprinkle a little bit of epsom salts.

BINGE WATCH YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOW/MOVIES:
If I'm sick for a couple days or over the weekend, you'll probably see me binge watching my favorite Netflix shows and movies. It also gives me a chance to catch up on any shows that I've missed out on...or, you know, it will give me a chance to re-watch my favorite shows/movies (i.e. Harry Potter movies, Breaking Bad, The Office).
GET COZY & (MOST IMPORTANTLY) REST:
Pile up the pillows and the blankets, because it's time to get plenty of rest! I love to surround myself with all things cozy, whether it's my favorite blanket or fluffiest pillow, I'm all about the importance of being comfortable!
