I haven't been the one to get all dressed up when going out for Mexican food (I mean queso and salsa can get pretty messy), but this time, I had gotten a few blogger gals together for a little dinner meet up and I thought I'd kind of dress the part for a "fiesta"! I was originally looking for a black off the shoulder dress, but had found this striped skirt instead (and just $30!), along with a pair of tassel earrings (which are currently sold out, but you can try this or this). Funny thing though, I did end up getting a black off the shoulder dress----which I'm actually wearing in today's post. You see what I did there? Clever!
In other news, Justin and I, along with a couple of our closest friends, are heading to the Queen's Cup tomorrow. It will be mine and Justin's first time going to the derby and I'm so excited! I've picked out my dress and now all I need to do is find (or make) my fascinator and pick out the hubby's attire. I'm thinking gingham bow-tie? haha, we'll see!
