Happy Wednesday everyone! I know this is a little over due, but I'm finally recapping my past trip to Charlottesville, VA! Brittany, Morgan, Laura, and I took a trip up to Charlottesville back in February and had such a pleasant time. We visited a couple of wineries, ate at a bunch of unique places, and even stayed at pretty hip hotel!
Our first winery was to Pippin Hill Winery, and it was seriously such a quaint little vineyard with an adorable barn styled building and overlooked the mountains. We also grabbed a little lunch during our wine tasting, and loved every bite!
We also went to King Family Vineyards where they had the most delicious rosé called the Crosé!
Really loved the vintage feel of the Graduate Hotel Charlottesville!
We ate at a ton of one of a kind places! One restaurant that stands out in my mind is Red Pump Kitchen! We headed there on our second to last day and had a delicious brunch. I got the shrimp & grits and ya'll, it was seriously the best dish ever! Talking about it is actually making me hungry right now, haha!
Also while traveling, I carried the perfect tote bag (see HERE) from Barrington Gifts! It was such a lifesaver, and was able to hold a lot of my necessities while on the trip!

Place to stay:
Graduate Charlottesville - This hotel is not your average everyday hotel! The Graduate Charlottesville has such a masculine vintage vibe, and is decorated with eclectic pieces that range from old suitcases to crocheted chandeliers. They really make sure to keep to their aesthetic, and even give guests room keys that look like student I.D.'s. They also have a cool place to eat and drink, conveniently placed inside the hotel, and even features a rooftop bar!
Places to eat:
Red Pump Kitchen
Basil Mediterranean Bistro - I love Greek food, so if you do too, then this place is for you!
The Juice Laundry
Insomnia Cookies - some of the best cookies everrrrr!
Wineries:
Pippin Hill Winery - you can also enjoy a nice lunch along with their wine tasting!
