If you're petite like me, then you know the struggle: Jeans. Yep, just the word itself can pretty much sum up the problem. When I was looking for a pair of frayed hem jeans, I was over the moon when I saw them come into the sales floor at my work---but alas, my common problem, they were too long. Wah! It's not like I don't buy regular fit jeans because I can easily fix the problem with cuffing or getting them hemmed at my local alterations place. On the other hand, with frayed jeans, the hem is dragging on the ground. It's kind of difficult to hem the bottom of jeans when they're already frayed, it just kind of defeats the purpose if you go through with it. But, knowing me, I don't just easily give up when looking for particular pieces. Lo and behold, I FOUND frayed hemmed jeans (here) in a petite size and they're perfect, plus they're under $35!!! For reference, the jeans are a slim boyfriend fit and I'm wearing a size US4. I could have gone down a size, but since I'm usually in between sizes around the waist, a belt could also easily fix the problem...or I could take it to get altered, haha!
